Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra revealed why her son Siddharth Chopra called off his wedding with Ishita Kumar.

Priyanka Chopra's brother Siddharth Chopra, who was supposed to get married by the end of April, called off the wedding and didn't walk down the aisle with Ishita Kumar. Priyanka's mom Madhu Chopra recently revealed the reason behind the cancellation of the wedding.
Talking to an entertainment website, Madhu said, "My son Siddharth said he was not ready for marriage yet. He explained he needed more time."
Earlier, in interaction with another news portal, Madhu had said, "They (Siddharth and Ishita) have mutually called it off."
Before Madhu Chopra's recent clarification, she told Bombay Times that the wedding has been postponed due to Ishita's emergency surgery. She had said, "We are disappointed but what can you do when a person is unwell? We wish Ishita a speedy recovery."
Ishita too took to Instagram to post a picture from the hospital, stating, "Recovering from surgery. Very painful but glad it's over."
