CBSE Class 10 Maths Exam 2019: Paper Analysis, Review and students feedback 
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 10th Maths paper today from 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM. This was the first major paper for class 10 students under CBSE Board Exams 2019. Over 16.38 lakh students appeared for the CBSE’s Class 10 Mathematics board exam today. Question papers were distributed at 10:15 am. Before starting writing the exam, students were given 15 minutes’ additional time to read the question paper thoroughly.   • The question paper consisted of 30 questions divided into four sections A, B, C and D.
  • Section A contained 6 questions of 1 mark each.
  • Section B contained 6 questions of 2 markseach.
  • Section C contained 10 questions of 3 marks each.
  • Section D contained 8 questions of 4marks each.
  • There was no overall choice. There is no overall choice. However, an internal choice was provided in two questions of 1 mark each, two questions of 2 marks each, four questions of 3 marks each and three questions of 4 marks each. Students had to attempt only one of the alternatives in all such questions.  
  • Total time allowed: 3 Hours
  • Maximum Marks: 80
  • CBSE Class 10 Maths Paper 2019: Students' reaction after the exam
    Difficulty level of question paper: Manu said ‘Medium’, 2 to 3 students said paper was very easy
    Toughest section: Majority of students said ‘Section D’ was a bit difficult
    Most time-consuming section: Section D
    Questions repeated from previous year papers: Many questions were almost similar to those asked in previous years
    Questions From NCERT Book: All the questions were picked from NCERT book
    All the questions in the paper were from the latest CBSE 10th Maths syllabus
    Average range of expected marks (out of 80): Most of the students are expecting 60 to 70 Marks
    So, in all students were extremely happy after taking the Maths exam and said that this year the Class 10 Maths paper was easier than the previous year. They didn't find any problem in completing the paper within 3 hours time duration.
    Experts Review:
    Experts analysed CBSE Class 10 Maths Paper 2019 and concluded that the Trigonometric portion in paper was a little difficult and could be time consuming for students. Overall it was a good start for CBSE Class 10 students.
