IPL 2019: इस बार नहीं होगी ओपनिंग सेरेमनी, शहीदों के परिवारों को दी जाएगी धनराशि

बीसीसीआई का प्रशासन देख रहे सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा गठित दो सदस्यीय प्रशासकों की समिति (सीओए) ने फैसला किया है कि आईपीएल 2019 में उद्घाटन समारोह नहीं किया जाएगा। उद्घाटन समारोह पर खर्च होने वाली धन राशि पुलवामा आतंकी हमले में शहीद हुए सीआरपीएफ जवानों के परिवारों को दी जाएगी। आईपीएल का 12वां चरण 23 मार्च से शुरू होगा। प्रशासकों की समिति के प्रमुख विनोद राय ने कहा, 'हम इस बार आईपीएल में कोई उद्घाटन समारोह नहीं कराएंगे और इसके लिए जितना बजट रखा गया था, वह शहीदों के परिवारों को दिया जाएगा।' गत चैम्पियन चेन्नई सुपरकिंग्स 23 मार्च को आईपीएल के शुरूआती मुकाबले में रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बेंगलुरु से भिड़ेगा।
